Tension-free Vaginal Tape–Obturator for Treatment of Pure Urodynamic Stress Urinary Incontinence: Efficacy and Adverse Effects at 10-year Follow-up

M. Serati, A. Braga, S. Athanasiou, G..A. Tommaselli, G. Caccia, M. Torella, F. Ghezzi, S. Salvatore

The 10-yr results of this study showed that tension-free vaginal tape–obturator is a

highly effective and safe option for the treatment of stress urinary incontinence.

The Detection of Androgen Receptor Splice Variant 7 in Plasma-derived Exosomal RNA Strongly Predicts Resistance to Hormonal Therapy in Metastatic Prostate Cancer Patients

M. Del Re, E. Biasco, S. Crucitta, L. Derosa, E. Rofi, C. Orlandini, M. Miccoli, L. Galli, A. Falcone,

G.W. Jenster, R.H. van Schaik, R. Danesi

The detection of androgen receptor splice variant 7 in plasma-derived exosomal

RNA is feasible and strongly predicts resistance to hormonal therapy in castration-

resistance prostate cancer. This minimally invasive approach can monitor the

development of pharmacologic resistance reliably and with a short turnaround time,

encouraging its integration in clinical laboratory practice.
